Terms of service

Placeholder — not legal copy

This page is a structural placeholder. Terms for a product that takes payment for a randomised outcome and offers immediate cash back must be drafted by qualified counsel, not generated. The engineering work needed to support whatever those terms say — jurisdiction gating, age verification, spend limits, self-exclusion, disclosure surfaces, audit trails — is built and documented in docs/06-compliance.md.

Sections this document will need to cover, at minimum:

  • What is being sold, and that the outcome is randomised from disclosed inventory
  • Eligibility: age, jurisdiction, account limits
  • How estimated market value is produced, and that it is not an appraisal
  • Buyback: that it is optional, its rate, and how long an offer binds
  • Vault custody, insurance, and what happens to unclaimed cards
  • Shipping, title transfer and risk of loss
  • Refunds and cancellation, including the point of no return in a pack opening
  • Balance mechanics, withdrawal, dormancy and unclaimed property
  • Taxes and reporting obligations for both parties
  • Prohibited conduct, account closure, and dispute resolution
